Sikhs in Scotland have welcomed the announcement by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon that Places of Worship can re-open on Monday 22nd June for individual prayer. This will be the first time Sikh Gurdwaras will open for worshippers since the lockdown began in March 2020. Since then, Scottish Sikhs have been working hard to serve our local communities by providing food parcels, essential items and hot meals. We look forward to welcoming the community back to Gurdwaras safely in a phased way for individual prayer.
To facilitate the re-opening of Sikh Gurdwaras, we have published the following Resources for Gurdwaras & Worshippers:
- Gurdwara Guidance including Health & Safety Assessment and Visitors Checklist
- Multi-Lingual Posters
